Are You up for the Challenge?

Are you the type of person that is content with how you live day to day? Are you the type of person that likes taking on challenges once in a while? 

 

The way I see it is you can go about your day to day life and be content with how you are living. Maybe using drugs, alcohol or food to make you feel better, or you can challenge yourself to do different things.

Get out of your comfort zone.

 

I’ll remember my very first challenge, I think I was around 15 or 16 years old. I remember when they used to have those 20 mile walkathons for March of Dimes. I told myself I was going to do it and told my Mom my intentions.

Everybody thought I was crazy but she took me downtown and dropped me off, And I did it. I walked the whole 20 miles, forgot how long it took me but the main thing is I challenged myself to do it and I did. 

 

Challenges are good for your body and your mind, Plus the feeling that you have when you complete a challenge is overwhelming.  Knowing that you completed something that you thought you couldn’t do feels so good.

 

Challenge yourself to take those extra steps

Challenge yourself to lose those 10 lbs

Challenge yourself to quit smoking

Challenge yourself to slow down or quit drinking

Challenge yourself to finish that book

 

These all just a few examples of some of the challenges I have started or completed.

 

Quit living day to day doing the same thing over and over,  challenge yourself….

 

Life  is short, don’t you want to feel like you accomplished something that you thought you couldn’t do before you leave this earth? We only get one shot to do something meaningful in our life. If everything was easy, what would be the fun in that?

 

So start a challenge, take on a challenge and I promise you the feeling of completion will make you feel so good. Good luck, and God bless..
